Two greenhouse trials were carried out to evaluate the effect of benzyladenine plus gibberellins (GA4+7) and gibberellic acid (GA3) on yield and yield components of cucumber. Gibberellic acid significantly increased leaf number per plant compared to control plants. Benzyladenine plus GA4+7 at 25, 50, or 75 mg L-1 significantly increased cucumber leaf size, flower number, fruit number, fruit yield and mean fruit weight compared to fruit from control cucumber plants. Gibberellic acid and benzyladenine (BA) plus GA4+7 at 25, 50, or 75 mg L-1 significantly increased fresh fruit yield of cucumber plants. The increase in yield was linear with increasing GA3 concentration and quadratic with increasing BA plus GA4+7 concentration. The results of this study suggest that GA3 and BA plus GA4+7 have the potential to be used to in the culture of cucumber under greenhouse conditions.en_US
